As many of you know, I have an extensive mechanical and construction background, 20 years as Deputy Sheriff and have negotiating skills from my years as a master claims adjustor for Nationwide Insurance. As commissioner, I work every day to take care of the business of the county and have faced the tough decisions with common sense and fiscal responsibility as I said I would in 2004. Beginning my second year as President of the Board of Commissioners, I have the experience needed for this position.
